Warning! Some spoilers ahead!
The plot is interesting and well narrated. I found the characters pretty flat. All but one: Ian. I like his narration in first person of his relationship with Jenna. It was disturbing to read the way the abuser justifies the abuse. This totally earned points to the story IMO.
It was a page turner. I just wanted to keep reading, and keep reading.
Considering this is a debut novel, I'm really interested in try more books by this author in the future.
I'd like to add I didn't like the title of the book. I'd never had picked the book by myself to read. I'm sure the title would have put me off. I only got interested in reading it because of a very positive review here in BookLikes.
