What I'm currently reading (7/2)

My brilliant friend by Elena Ferrante - It is the July pick for my RL book club. So far so good. I'm enjoying the 1950s Naples setting, and I'm surprised at how incredible study of human relationships it is. Extra comment: I HATE the cover.

How to breathe underwater by Julie Orringer - I'm doing a buddy read of this one with some GR friends. As it usually happens with short stories collections I'm liking some of them, and disliking others. I still have 3 stories to go (reading one story a day it's working perfectly) and I think this book is heading to a 3 stars rating. Let's see.

Evie Brooks in Central Park by Sheila Agnew - This is a middle grade novel I got through Netgalley, and hope to review it early next week.
